Mango Ice Cream
How to make mango ice cream by mixing all the ingredients in a canning jar and placing the canning jar in the freezer overnight. I added several pieces of the mango into the jar for a crunchy bite.
1 ripe mango, peeled and cut into chunks
¼ cup water
1 cup heavy whipping cream
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
5 tablespoons sugar or to taste
1 canning jar with lid (16 ounces)
Reserve three chunks of mangos and cut them into smaller pieces. In an electric blender, add the remaining chunks of mangos along with the water (add more water if necessary). Beat at high speed until the mangos form a creamy texture, approximately 30 seconds.
Pour the creamy mango mixture into the canning jar along with the small pieces of mangos. Add the heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract and sugar inside the canning jar. Place lid on jar and shake vigorously until all ingredients are well blended. Place jar in the freezer overnight.
Serve in a bowl and enjoy!
