On June 17th, I volunteered my culinary services to benefit “The Caring Place” – a nonprofit organization. We served authentic Puerto Rican cuisine from the island coupled with historical food presentation for each dish. The table was decorated beautifully with tropical colors. The culinary staff (Jessica, Jennifer and Rachel) did an excellent job serving the guests. A special Thank You to my dear friend, Vegan Chef Laurie Rice, for volunteering her culinary services for four straight days, preparing Puerto Rican cuisine.
