Description
Air Fried Cornmeal Fritters (Sorullitos) are delicious, crispy and moist. The texture is similar to frying but without the excess cooking oil. This is definitely a much healthier method of enjoying our traditional cornmeal fritters.
Sorullitos are cornmeal fritters that are shaped like a cigar. Edam or Gouda cheese is usually incorporated into the cornmeal batter. However, you can also prepare them without cheese. The sorullitos are a very popular appetizer in Puerto Rico and are usually served with Mayo Ketchup as a dipping sauce.
