For the first time, I attended the 2019 Everything Food Conference in Layton, Utah. I met so many amazing people associated with the food industry and/or food bloggers. We had a busy workshop schedule that started at 9 am until 6 pm for 3-½ days (breakfast, lunch and dinner were provided with entertainment). We learned about food photography, food videotaping, food blogging, branding, podcasting, posting on Facebook, Instagram, website and Pinterest. I am not even touching the technical aspects of each of these segments. At this conference, I learned that I was doing everything the hard way!
Therefore, my current website is being changed dramatically to reflect a more professional food blogging website. You will have access to amazing recipes (mainly Puerto Rican and Latin American) with pictures and nutritional values as well. Most recipes will have a link to a video for you to view for more detailed cooking preparation. Other links will be added as I partner with other corporations.
I am currently a member of Food Blogger Pro. With this membership, I will be kept abreast of all the current technology and social platforms to maintain my food blogging website up to speed. Since I am not able to open a restaurant due to unforeseen circumstances (will revisit this subject next summer), I have decided to become a full-time food blogger in the meantime so I can take care of my family at home.
The new website along with recipes (design, logo, recipes, videos, etc.) will take approximately 1 month before it gets installed. During this transition, I will still be posting on the current website and now that I am back home, I will be resuming my YouTube videos soon!
